The Greater Hilton Neighborhoods

Love where you live!

The Greater Hilton Neighborhoods are located off Warwick Boulevard and backs the James River.  It consists of 5 subdivisions – North Hilton, Warwick on the James, Brandon Heights, Hilton Village, and Rivermont.

This community began with Hilton Village (registered in the National Register of Historical Places) consisting of 500 English-style homes built between 1918 and 1921.  The neighborhood was designed to house employees of the Newport News Shipyard during World War I and is recognized as the United States first Federal war-housing project.  Today, Hilton is a neighborhood full of character and close-knit neighbors.

Hilton attracts a variety of homeowners from families to empty-nesters, retirees to businesses.  In 2009 the American Planning Association (APA) announced Historic Hilton Village as one of the 10 greatest neighborhoods.
